All scheduled appointments must be cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice by the candidate through his/her own Pearson VUE account. The NIGP-CPP Team cannot assist with appointment scheduling, cancelling, or rescheduling, so be sure to access your Pearson VUE account for all appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- If cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice, the candidate may reschedule to an available appointment – within the same testing window – without a further fee.
- If cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice, the candidate may transfer to a later testing window by remitting the transfer fee – if the application period has not expired.
- Transferring to another testing window is only allowed if the candidate’s application has not expired.
- For candidates approved on or before September 30, 2025, NO transfers will be allowed from the final November 2026 testing. November 2026 is the final testing window for all candidates who must successfully complete Exam Modules A and B.
The NIGP-CPP Team cannot assist with appointment scheduling or cancellations. The candidate must both schedule and cancel appointments through her/his own Pearson VUE account/record.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or the appointment is missed, the testing fee paid for this testing window is forfeited. Pearson VUE charges NIGP-CPP for all missed appointments, and this fee is passed on directly to the candidate. The candidate will be required to remit a new $150 testing fee to register again for testing in a new testing window.
- There are provisions for medical or family emergencies that occur within 24 hours of a scheduled testing appointment. Documentation must be provided to the NIGP-CPP team within 7 calendar days following the scheduled appointment to request a review of this fee. Please review the NIGP-CPP Requirements Manual for specifics.
